
Marla Cannefax, M.S., LSSP, LPC
Since 2006, Marla has worked with children in the greater East Texas area. Most of this time, her experience was in the school system where she evaluates students for eligibility of special education services and provides services for them in the school setting with her LSSP license. She continued her training by pursuing her LPC license and enjoys providing therapy with individuals, couples, and families.
Her passion is to continue helping children and their families as they navigate challenges together. Marla recognizes the role trauma plays in the lives of family members which can impact the family system. Learning to identify strengths and overcome obstacles is where she thrives in assisting families in crisis.
