Russ Bailiff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor, Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider, and trained Family Mediator. His professional career began as a legal assistant followed by working as Juvenile Probation Officer, and later as an administrator in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, providing him with insight into the intersection between the justice system, clinical mental health, and family dynamics. He holds a B.A. in History & Political Science from Southern California College and later earned his Master of Science in Clinical Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Russ' diverse educational and professional background has nurtured an interest in family systems and human development, leading him to dedicate over two decades to working with children, families, and individuals in crisis.
Russ’s overarching goal is to create an environment where clients can heal with dignity and a sense of self-determination. He maintains a clinical focus on individuals, couples, and families, specializing in complex family systems, divorce therapy, and trauma resolution. As a Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) Practitioner, he utilizes a trauma-informed approach to help clients navigate life’s most difficult transitions, fostering personal growth and healthier relationships.
In addition to therapeutic care, Russ offers specialized forensic assessment and expert services. Drawing upon his extensive experience in both clinical social work and the legal system, he provides in-depth evaluations for both criminal and civil cases, including violence risk assessment, substance abuse evaluation, mediation reports, sex-offending risk assessment, and clinical mental health evaluations.
